Looks like it's from outer space, right? I just gave a few cuttings to a new friend who lives in Cambridge, England "such a nice lady & a fine artist too". Here is a pix of my actual plant. No, it's not a cactus, it's a Stapelia variegata also called "carrion flowers". They are small, spineless, cactus-like succulent plants. The flowers of all species are hairy to varying degrees and generate the odor of rotten flesh. The color of the flowers also mimics rotting meat, hummmm & yuckkk!!!
