Octopus Dream Ring Dark Brass Black Onyx Eyes

I antiqued this brass octopus ring using a turn of the century technique called fuming. I was able to achieve deep rich colors, which range from dark olive browns to highlights of luscious yellow and reds. There are also tiny hints of green verdigris, with the brass peeking through in some areas! I then buffed the ring with a jewelry grade museum quality wax.
